Forge Plateau

So over the past 4 days i was INCREDIBLY bored, So i decided i would venture to a new format instead of forging for the time bieng.

I came up with a concept and yes using a photoshop program i created a new map.

Forge Plateau

This got me thinking though, and as i was creating this wonderful map I realized…
Nobody would every be able to play on it.

As i was in the middle of it the map seemed to take a new shape as i wanted to create a map that could show 343 what all of us forgers wanted out of forge.

And this is it. plain and simple people want to make maps like this, using natural terrain and terrain editing options.

So i bring to you Forge Plateau, May 343 take this advice and allow us options in halo 5 to create these maps

It would be nice, but I doubt it’ll be included.
I wouldn’t be upset if it weren’t, but I’d be pleased if it were.

I also want weather and time of day control.

Do I think 343 will have a map editor on the level of Far Cry 2’s? (granted more powerful due to new tech and hardware)

Yes.

There’s literally no reason not to anymore. With digital downloads and Blue Ray we have so much more available space and are not limited to worrying about what makes the cut in terms of what we can fit on one disk.
I’ll be at a loss if 343 isn’t working on this.

That’s neat, but I’d really prefer a map editor. It’s about time Halo had one. Something along the lines of Project Spark, maybe? (With Halo textures and such, obviously.)

Hey, I recognize your name! You’re that guy who made all those amazing Reach maps!

i remember you too back on bungie forums, lol, ive made halo 4 maps as well, i just havent forged in months and halo 4 really drained all of it from me.

yes, I would love to create land masses but I also want the ability to add halo music to my maps for tone, I feel this would make maps more fun

Cool idea, but as others said, I too am ready for a full blown map editor. Xbox One is more powerful than the 360 and as long as there is time and resources to do it, I see no reason why not to.
