Hi i was just thinking will there be pelicans in forge along with other cool air vehicles
There will not be pelicans in forge.
I sure hope so, I want to fly one that isn’t a glitch or Easter egg for once!
And how do you now it WON’T be in forge mister monitor?
We all hope they’ll be there. They won’t, of course, as that doesn’t make sense, but we hope…
I’m still hoping for real ODST drop pods though
Because it makes no sence from a gameplay perspective to have it in multiplayer. They will not add a vehicle only for custom games.
There will be no Pelicans, Scarabs or phantoms.
come on how are you all sure???
> come on how are you all sure???
Because it wouldn’t work out on the maps. It’s a thing when you have been with Halo for such long time, you just KNOW it won’t be there.
i have had halo most of my life
> i have had halo most of my life
Well then you should know how things work.
yes i know but the majority of the people who play halo want stuff like that. 343 should put them in for us
I can’t see why we can’t have it, the gauss hog is the same, to Overpowered for multiplayer, but it would be cool to have, let the mapmaker worry about balance issues, as far as I’m aware the gauss hog has never been in online, but its been in everyone with forge.

It’s not about power, it’s about how it works.
Imagine having a fully loaded pelican flying across the map (BOOM) Killionare for merely shooting it down.
Pelicans most likely will not be in forge ever. Not unless Halo 5 goes even further to press the new Xbox to the max.
The gauss hog has always been in MP, since Halo 2.
Douple post

We can currently get a triple for blowing up a hog, and Like I said It’s Irrelevant in custom games if its unfair or unbalanced, custom games have always been able to be ridiculous, I could set it so that the first player to get a kill was invulnerable and one shot everyone, or then set it so that the enemy team spawns in-front of my Gauss hog and I intently kill them, balance or kills are irrelevant in this topic as people might only want it for videos or other things. If It would not show up in match making -Like the guass hog- it would not mater how it behaves, just don’t use it when you make a map.
I would like to point out that I agree that if it was in it should stay out of competitive games.
The Gauss Hog has been featured in Online Matchmaking through the series for a good while, and is currently featured in two maps on Reach, and Halo 4’s Exile map, its still a beast to be dealt with however soon as possible. I felt the Pelican, Phantoms, and such could work well as Scenery, but not so much as usable vehicles thatd just not be worth it currently within a Matchmaking environment. I’m thinking of things similiar to Valhalla, Sandtrap, Highlands, Tempest, and such where its more useful as just another scenery piece for the environment with options to turn the engine effects and such on and off. I believe this would keep people from wasting so many items to make the same thing out of blocks but lack the detail to truly say it is a actual aesthetic item, and keep something horrendous from appearing in a otherwise beautifully forged map.
Pelican in forge? 0% chance.
I’m sure michinamists would love pelicans for custom games, and they probably wouldn’t mind spirits or phantoms either.
