Halo 4’s forge felt the same as Reach’s forge, which wasn’t bad. The only problem was the maps that 343 gave us to forge on. They released Forge Island, sure. But that just gave me more air space then anything. Forge Island was big, and wide open. Fun to explore. With Xbox One, 343 should be able to create a gigantic Forge map that topples over Forge World, with new objects and vehicles to spawn like the Pelican, Phantom, and Elephants. The budget should be able to be increased too.
No halo 4’s forge was an abomination it was like if you hit halo reaches forge in the head with a hammer, yes we need a better forge but take off where reach ended.

It had the same feautures generally. It’s maps just blew and gametypes were taken out. It was just a downgraded Reach.
I don’t want Forge in the next Halo game, I want a proper map editor. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again but a series like Halo is long overdue for one.

I do too, but I honestly don’t see 343 actually making a map editor, unfortunately.

A full-blown Map Editor would also likely hurt DLC sales, so I wouldn’t get my hopes up for it.
