Forge on computer and send to xbox

What do you think of the ability to start a map from an abyss and edit it completely from nothing using your computer or equivalent and then be able to upload it to the net for everyone to try. What I am getting at is the Halo custom edition map editing process, which resulted in maps like huge***, extinction, coldsnap, yoyorast island, and many more. I would hope for an exact remake of the freedom offered, but with more ease for new users. The great part would be the ability to have complete control over your map, ie the use of different bipeds (designs for weapons, grunts, vehicles, etc) and tags.

So what do you think?

I agree simply because i tryed making yoyorast even with “extra items” added it still was impossible.

My point exactly. I want more freedom to make the design perfect.

You seem to have forgotten that most of those maps were absolutely nothing more than several kilometers worth of completely empty space, with massive weapon caches on either side.

They can certainly streamline the mapmaking process from Halo Custom Edition, but I very highly doubt that they’ll be able to make it as easy to use as Forge currently is.

The community can’t be trusted with something that is both limitless and easy-to-use. The easier something is to use, the more easily it can be abused, and the more capable that something is, the more spectacularly it can be abused. I shudder to think what would happen if the makers of the trash on Most Downloaded and Most Recommended got their hands on an easy-to-use editor that allows for the alteration of any in-game asset a la Halo Custom Edition.
