Hey guys, I made this forum so 343 could see what to add to forge. Any ideas? I think objects should blend in with there environment.(For Example:if the map is a snow map the walls and warthogs should have snow on them.)Just like the warthog on the halo 3 map Avalanche. Also, there should be a falcon that has a turrent the pilot could shoot like the one on New Alexendria.
Interactive forge pieces. So when you press a button, a door opens etc. I also hope you can literally makes maps from scratch (no forge world, just an empty grid) and customize the terrain, the backdrop, and the kinds of pieces

Oh man I would never play an other game ever… ever…
But honestly I think 343 should… you know what? I like your idea better.
I can’t think of anything better! The map possibilities would be endless! 343 wouldn’t have to make DLC map packs, they could just make new thing for us to use in forge! Just have one, blank, completely customize-able map!

You basically put all my ideas in fewer words. The only thing to add is changeable object textures (ie. wood, UNSC metal, Covenant metal, forerunner, etc…)
Adjustable weather. Like rain, snow, sun, day, night, fog. That kind of stuff.
Chose what time of day, add stars in the sky an add other night time things in the sky. All of my maps would be pitch dark with stars in the sky with some fog.
A terrain editor, or any of these extensive ideas, aren’t likely to be implemented if they haven’t already started making them. I think people are mentioning these things, sadly, in vain.
I’m just hoping they’ve done a good job working out what needs to be improved on themselves.
As for actually suggesting things:
If they’re going to make it based around pieces with shapes that you can’t alter, they need to make a much wider range of different shapes and sizes, like 2x4 and 2x3 flats and shorts and also things compatible with different angled corners. For instance, banks fitting in 45 degree corners between ramps, and such. I’m tired of not being able to make maps based on other angles than ninety, pretty much not being able to make multileveled maps with floors directly above and under each other.
The optimal solution would be if we hada bunch of basic objects, like let’s say the 2x4 or a bank 2x2, that we could simply adjust to fit in more specific places. The block 2x4 in this case, would be changed in size just like we set spawn-, death- and safe zones to certain sizes.
If we could also have this go with a bunch of different textures to pick between, we could make things look and fit however and wherever we’d like them to.
This “time of the day” thing some are talking about is a bit silly. What you really are asking for is the ability to pick between different skyboxes and changing the contrast, lighting, brightness, colours and so on with options, instead of the FX we’ve got in Reach, which I also wholeheartedly support.

Made a one-to-one Frigate model? Upload it to your Fileshare and allow everyone to enjoy it! This can actually be done in Halo 4. I was so happy when I made this one up, its just so useful!
These are from an old thread of mine, don’t want to write them up again…
Not dying when you go in water would be great.Mabye a map that there is water at least to a spartans waist.I think it would better if they went back to maps more like the ones on halo reach.

I made a map out of bounds once where the water was like five meters deep. It was awesome. Never got to test it though, so don’t know if you can actually shoot.

You can shoot, but certain weapons and vehicles do strange things. Shotguns are extremely close range, and rockets arc down dramatically.
