Forge object textures

One annoyance i had with halo reach’s forge was this fact, Everything Is Grey!! I really would enjoy it if 343 added textures to forge objects. this would make maps less dull and add color for amazing effects. Id love to make stone walls for a castle or maybe green metal for a base. What do you think?

I agree, I have stopped playing reach because all the maps are grey, boring, It really does get boring when your a general grade 2 (6000 cR from grade 3)…

Yeah, my idea for forge is to let them keep all the complicated pieces they have now with all the effects we really dont need, but then also give us a list of simple geometric shapes to choose from. When chosen, let us pick from a list of seamless repeatable textures that aren’t mapped to the objects in any particular fashion. That way we can make brick, or wood, or whatever. And these pieces could be CHEAP, because they are not complicated (infused with glass and blinking lights, with bumps and lines and beveled edges)

We’d be able to get REALLY creative. Some maps wouldn’t look as clean, but a few talented people would be able to knock your socks off with this stuff.

Also, we need some cheap small objects. All the blocks are huge.

And alot more scenery.

Like you guys are saying, Halo 4 should have more scenery pieces and textures and also themed structures pieces.

You know like, UNSC, covenant, forerunner bin done to death, and all three with flood stuff on them.

does this sound possible or not?

If you mean like flood blood and flesh scattered along blocks then it would probably be possible :smiley:
