So I booted up forge today, and got some error. “A fireteam member’s online safety settings do not allow them to view this content.” Just checked xbox live settings, and found nothing that would’ve done this. Everything is open, I can access multiplayer freely, yet I get this error. Please fix this, or something. Errors like this shouldnt exist, as they lock players out of content.
Sounds like it fixed for most people after a hard reset of their Xbox. Do you use instant on?
I am in the same boat as the O.P. A hard reset of my XBOXONE changed nothing. Any other ideas of how to fix this issue?

We had the same issue, my son had limited acces on the privacy settings under “family” and I had to change the settings to “adult”. Child or teenager did not allow to acces Forge.

This is what worked for me:
1.) Sign in with your parents account
2.) Go to settings, then to account settings
3.) Select “family”
4.) Select your account
5.) Select “privacy & online safety”
6.) Set it to “adult defaults”
Log back in with your account and try now

Same issue. I’m not happy that the answer is to open up full adult permissions. There has to be a way to know what specific permission it is failing on. Has anyone got a list of what the minimum permission set is?

If you forgot to put a spawn point in (a basic, not an initial) it will do that. It is a bug and needs fixed
323 you really need to change the controls on forge back to the ones on halo reach because these controls are really confusing and is just dead set dumb

I just had to go into settings, changed the privacy & online settings to adult, normally turned my Xbox off then back on, and it fixed it. I have instant on in case that affects it at all.
Okay I tried all the solutions on this forum. I changed the online security settings to adult and unplugged and replugged the Xbox. But now it won’t load, or it says “There was an issue with the Halo 5: Guardians servers. Please try again.” So really the only thing I can do is play campaign, because the regular multiplayer modes and Warzone also are very error prone for me. Guess if this doesn’t work out I’ll just start playing Destiny again…
