In a interview with 343 here it says that forge news will be coming soon. I am super hyped because i love forge.
I’m super excited about forge too. 
I hope there’s at least two maps with their own unique objects, that aren’t grey, in Halo 4. That’d make for awesome custom games and excellent replay value.
We’ll get forge news at either RTX or SDCC or even in a bulletin with a ViDoc about forge (Hopefully). That’d be cool.
I’m with you. Forge is a huge part of Halo to me, and I was wondering whether they would release any news about it this summer. Good to hear they’re covering a little bit of everything.

Judging by how successful Rooster Teeth’s Achievement Horse has been (which is a game they play based off Forged challenges if you didn’t know), I think we can safely say that at least some Forge news will be out tomorrow.
