Back in the days of H3 forge we had an option where only the host can edit maps. We need this back. I put my forge session on invite only, and somehow a random got into my game, these servers are too unreliable as it is, but this is too much, 343 please make this feature happen.
I support this, also if it hasnt already been done, make a file share like reach so not everyone can just look at all your maps

Well new maps are no longer automatically visible to “map stealers” or anyone else for that matter. The only way people can steal your maps is if you make them visible. I make mine visible for my friends and then take them down when they are done.

I don’t quite understand you op, but it sounds like your asking for a way to not let others into forge with you. You might want to try turning your lobby on “closed” before starting forging as that means no one can join.

That’s what I thought at first too, but re-reading his post I guess what he’s after is “Others can join, but only I can make edits”. So as far as the other players are concerned it’s a typical Custom Game but the Host has monitor-powers while they don’t.

Yes exactly that, Halo 3 had that and it kept Forge griefing to a minimum. Why it was only in Halo 3 I’ll never know as it was among the most useful of the Forge features.
