Literally just got disconnected from the servers and lost all my progress in forge. I’m really freaking angry about this.
So 343 I think should implement an autosave or play offline forge feature because I am livid.
They should worry about making gametypes that SHOULD be offline in the firstplace offline-capable before worrying about autosave, imo.
The fact that you have to be connected to their servers and that you have to be online in general is just ridiculous.
The problem here, clearly, is that Forge is online in the first place. (Grrrrr!)
Autosave isn’t a good idea since people make a lot of jerky mistakes and end up deleting whole bases by accident. You wouldn’t want that to save for you, even if it’s on toggle and entirely up to you.
We already have a quick save option, and that’s good enough. A smart Forger saves often, I guess. All I can really say though is I’m sorry Forge ate your map 
Same here. But I learned to save every hour. I think it would be nice with a solo version of forge, like the campaign.
