Forge + Multiplayer

After playing Halo 5 for quite a while now, I seem to get bored after playing about 2 games of warzone or about 3-5 games of arena. I believe this is down to the general lack of maps available to play, even though they are adding more regularly. So I had an idea:
When you create a forge map, you can upload it to an arena playlist and host/join gamemodes on player created maps.
There are 3 categories for this:
BRONZE - New maps, unverified by 343. Widest range of maps available
SILVER - Has a community rating of 60+ (minimum of 50 votes required, you vote AFTER you have played the map from 0-100) and this is where you see good - very good quality maps.
GOLD - These maps are the best of the best. If a silver map gets an 80 or 90+ rating after 200 people have voted, 343 test it and have a few games on it, and see if its worth “verifying” (Eligible to earn XP on as there are no exploits - hence it being verified by 343) and these maps are the very best of the community.
Overall, it is similar to Far Cry 3’s map editor and multiplayer. I think halo DESPERATELY needs this because at the moment, forge is pretty useless. I will create a map, but non of my friends play halo so it was just a waste of time and effort, so with this new proposed feature, people would have a purpose to put time, effort and energy into forging their imagination. I’m sure it would make the game more enjoyable, so I hope someone from 343 sees this and forwards it on.
If you have any other ideas on how to make forge, well, purposeful, feel free to post your ideas.

This sounds pretty fantastic. Definitely be done!!!

Problem is that Bronze maps will rarely ever work let alone be fun to play. I imagibe maps with no spawn points, troll maps, phallic maps…

I guess you could work around that by only allowing each user to enter one map/gametype variation at a time to the Bronze rotation and only if that map was previously tested (played on and approved by X numb4t of players). Forgers that are confident with their maps could then ask in the Community Creations forum for help testing a map and as you said a map can only be approved after a full length match is played. The system will still be abused by trolls but at least there’d be some barriers.

We can hope. We can hope.

I’ve always wanted custom games to be some sort of playlist

Yeah it would be difficult trying to get around trolls, maybe include a button in the pause menu so you can report back that the map isn’t a proper one and its used for trolling and then the creator can’t publish again

Maybe each map has to pass verification tests (like minimum spawns, and limitations on power weapon spawns.). This wouldn’t help filter the maps that have bright pink and yellow Near Fog at scale 10.00.

I tried to make a warzone map in forge, it failed. Not enough budget, physics and collision were almost used up, and lightmap was over budget.

Again this would be nice but for the lack of better, no good warzone maps can be made yet.

Maybe just Arena maps for the moment

There needs to be more incentive to use forge. There isn’t even a tutorial in game and YouTube isn’t very helpful.

What does this even mean?

Yeah I could see that being abused. I think having a custom games lobby where people can host custom games would be better; then again maybe they can work around this problem.

Have a tutorial and have req point rewards for spending time forging. Though I don’t need the points my self as such cause I’ve unlocked every thing.

Every time i me I go on forge I try my best to keep trying but I can’t figure any thing out. Before when I used it on previous games I didn’t know much but I enjoyed staying in forge and learned to do some forging eventually.
