So I just got done building a map for several hours, then hopped into customs to fully play it. Noticed some issues and went back to forge.
Keep in mind ive gone back into forge several times to edit things with no issues.
But this last time I now spawn under the map in monitor mode. I cant move or open any menus (other than to quit forge)
I really hope this map will not be wasted or that there will atleast be an update to fix this issue.
Anyone else encounter this problem?
I think the issue is that you either deleted all the spawns/respawns, or the only ones left are in an unspawnable area. This is forge’s biggest issue at the moment, with players naturally deleting all the default stuff in the map including spawns, flags, strongholds etc, and then leaving the forge only to not be able to come back.
Unfortunately there is literally NOTHING you can do, except wait for 343 to patch it. I’ve got 2 maps that I put alot of effort into, and now I cant do anything with them - very annoying.
All you can do is keep this in mind when you start another map - ensure that there is at least one spawn, and that it is in an open area. Sorry to hear it’s affecting others.
I have the same issue, only I do have all my spawn areas in my map!

I’ve been having the same issue with ALL of my maps, and It doesn’t seem to matter if I keep the default spawn points or delete them and place new ones because they don’t seem to work In Forge or Custom Games when this glitch happens. As an example, on my most recent map: I put down a total of eight initial spawn points, eight respawn points, kept a small portion of the default spawns as backups, AND made sure that none of them were inhibited by structural pieces or placed in an otherwise unspawnable location. That may seem a bit excessive, but even that didn’t keep the map from bugging out. I hope that whatever fix that 343i comes up with, if any, is released at some point in the near future.
