They delayed it because they are possibly working on a monetization system for it.

Well if new items are tied to expansions fine
New pallettes and objects with campaign expansion is OK for me if they aren’t advertising it as part of the package andits just locked behind a campaign.
Thats said anymore and they will never see a penny from me again. I’m at my limit
Forge is locked behind the campaign, I’m ok with that, I just hope that’s the only pay wall. From Steam DLC description.

Oh no just like the customization I’m going to guess of they do monitize it they are going to lock things that were once free in other halos behind a paywall. Individual peices … Paywall.
I wouldn’t put it past them
Forge isn’t multiplayer it’s it’s own thing thus I’m speculating based on how heavy they monetized Halo already that they Are working Ng on a way to monetize elements of forge the mode will be free but will be bare bones all the nicer stuff …
