Forge Maps are Helping Team Slayer

What are your thoughts on the additions of the 4 new forge maps to ITS, or to any playlist for that matter?

I think having 9 maps in rotation for everyone, plus DLC (if you are lucky enough to get it) is making the game a lot more dynamic and it’s about time. I would get bored playing adrift and haven over and over again, so there maps certainly are making the playlist more enjoyable for me.

I agree for sure. However, is it just me or do all the forge maps seem a bit glitchy? Maybe it was just lag/coincidence in all the forge maps as I was playing yesterday but it seemed kind of consistent…

I didn’t really notice any glitching and I played quite a while last night. I’ll have to pay attention next time. I also like that they added a bottom mid to simplex and slightly altered the layout.

I haven’t had an opportunity to try it yet, I’ll see next time and I’m thoroughly excited to see what they are

As long as none of the maps make you have bad screen lag (which they do), it’s usually fine.

I think all the forge maps are fun and awesome that have been added, apart from Settler

They made Team Slayer unplayable on split screen. I would be more than happy if they work as well as Reach’s counterpart, but for now, I think they should be removed. Because of frame rate issues I rarely play Halo 4, since I’m forced to quit more than half of matches.

Only Forge map that works well (and it works in Big Team Slayer) is Settler which, on the other hand, is unplayable because of DMR.

Assault wasn’t actually added to matchmaking this week, it was planned to but it had no team spawns.
