FORGE MAP WITH COVENANT PIECES AND TEXTURE?

Is it probable for 343i to come up with a new DLC forge map?
If so, why not a covenant forge map with new forge pieces and texture.

Speculating here, but a Covenant palette probably wouldn’t work, because it’s harder to merge round pieces and have them look good. If the pieces weren’t round, then they wouldn’t fit the Covenant aesthetic (just like how Forge World’s palette wasn’t truly Forerunner, but just an imitation).

Would be fantastic… except they can’t get specs or matchmaking or theater or file share to work. Do you really think this will happen?

Well, they have the palette in the campaign, it shouldn’t be to gard to add to a forge map, it’d require some coding, but megalo seems to be capable of anything…Hex editing without it seems to be worse…

If you’re referring to things like Deployable Lookout Towers and Phantoms, then sure, those are already in Campaign and could be added to new Forge palettes with relative ease (though there may be synch issues).

I thought OP was referring to a Covenant-themed Structure category – something you could use to build things like Midship or Zealot from scratch – hence the answer I gave. But just Covenant scenery would probably be manageable.

Megalo is more for gametype scripting – scoring, waypoints, traits, logic. It wouldn’t have much relevance to Forge or its palette.
