They still have the loading bar from RTX in forge. What is the point in having a loading bar for switching from monitor to spartan?(and vice versa)

It’s to generate all that glorious and amazing lightning
The pieces don’t have lighting when you place them. The loading bar is adding the dynamic lighting effects to the new pieces you’ve placed.
Games don’t have loading bars/screens by choice. As has been said, the game needs to render the lighting and map (as well as trait zones) completely before you can play on it. This reduces lag. It;s fair to assume that the more objects you place, the longer the loading time is.
I’ll be very interested to see how this works in multi-person forge, though.
It’s only for a second or two, and it’s a fair trade for getting dynamic lighting.
