Hey everyone! I’m new to the Halo 5 forge and would like to be more proficient at using it, just generally boost my skill. I have had some experience with Teach’s forge and Halo 4. I’ve noticed how much more there is to offer in Halo 5 and would really like to get to know the system. Now here comes the slightly embarrasing part, is there anyone willing to give lessons? Maybe meet up show me some tricks and methods and hang out a bit? Who knows I may be able to help you in the future on whatever projects you may have. If anyone is interested message me! Idk about 1 on 1, but I was thinking about making a video or a series on it if people were interested, my channel is on my profile page.
Just start making a simple map, lets say a grifballcourt or something. You learn a lot if you just try and build stuff. Check forgehub.com and maybe forgehub on youtube and forgelabs as well for inspiration or tutorials. I’m nowhere near a good forger but learned some stuff along the way.
But the mechanics are best learned by trying I think.
Start out with just a standard octagon style map, then try not to worry so much about map flow and all that, just try to have fun, the serious part comes later.
