Is it just me or does it seem forge was hardly touched in halo 4?
I mean there are some nice new settings and buttons aswell as the shadow casting, but you can only truely forge on the 3 forge maps.
And the generic pieces are all the ones from reach… They were slightly redone but they are still the same no more no less.
Also the Magnet system… Its a good idea yes but it alot of times doesnt match up with coordinates. Also in many cases the magnets dont even match up.
Back to the maps…
Heres the way I judge the forge maps…
Impact… A very bare map but has really good forging items and pieces
Erosion… Honestly I find this map very difficult to work with discounting the foundry area and the map specific items they give you are pipes… So i find the forging items and pieces on this map limited to generic only
Ravine… A nice looking map with decent forging capability
Now a few other things that bug me is they did not fix the block misplacement (when your not the host leader and every time you place a wall is moves slightly) it is alittle better but its still there… (and if this is something that cant truely be fixed then fine) Also why would you take out the zoom in when in editing mode?.. I actually used that for many things like lining things up at a certain point and close moving items (magnets do not fix these uses)
