So I’m in the middle of working on a map. Haven’t done anything funky to it or anything… accidentally deleted an object I didn’t want to, so I figured… meah, whatever I’ll just reload from my last save of the map. Turns out when I load back into said map, I’m spawning into force unable to move and WAY under the map and WAY off in the distance from it. I’m actually so far away and under the map I can see the bottom of the map from under it including the bottom of the water layer.
I’ve been working on this map for about 12 hours now and I really don’t want to lose all of that work. Can someone give some sort of an idea of how to recover my map?
This problem happens when your map has no respawn points. To fix this, load into the game with a friend, tell them to leave, tell them to join back. Once they’re back in, they should be able to move about. Tell them to place a respawn point down and once they have, you should spawn. If you don’t spawn, leave and join.
