You can easily do the Tank Pinball glitch in Halo 4’s Forge Islands.
Instructions:
- Load up Forge Islands in forge.
- Spawn a scorpion and hold it sideways slightly above the ground.
- Hold the left trigger and fly forward, dropping the tank on the ground as you hit top speed.
- Watch the tank fly off into the distance.
- ???
- Profit!
You’re welcome.
EDIT: Ignore what Schnitzelman said below, the tank flies off like no tomorrow if you do it right, and it’s actually really easy.
I expected more pinball effect, instead it just slowly flips over the edge. Sorry but it’s not very amazing at all.

Try it more than once, it’s random every time, if it doesn’t work for you try turning it around in different directions. I found that the original orientation works best, just launch it sideways.
Anyone else tried this yet with mancannons?
I’ve been trying to do it with mancannons but have had no luck so far
A flying tank is a banshees worst nightmare. Tried it out when my friend was flying in a Banshee, Tank flew at him at bullet speed…he exploded…Tank disappeared off in the distance.

You just gave me a great idea
I’m going to go and set up targets for a scorpion fire range
In Halo 2 if you rammed the scorpion just right with the wraith it would do the pinball thing. It was hilarious to do in matchmaking on Coag

Was it on Halo 2 as well when you flipped one over and drove the other one on top of it, then flipped back the bottom one it’d do this too?

Yeeep sorta worked in Halo 3 as well but not nearly as good.
I never did get it to work in Halo 3. Yeah sure it did happen sometimes, but it was random and unwanted

The only time it happened to we was on accident in MM. Splattered half my team (slight exaggeration) and was booted.

The few times it happened to me all it killed was me and the tank itself…
Best thing about this new one I found on Forge Islands is you can sort of control the direction
Try hitting your friends in banshees with the tanks
It amazes me nobody else seems to have found the glitch yet
