Is this MCC H4 or 360 H4? I can’t think of anything this could be except a bad drive sector… unless we’re talking about the MCC in which case you should just count yourself lucky that your console hasn’t caught fire and exploded.
If you’re on the 360 you could try deleting the map from your hard drive and reloading it from xbox.com or the xbox live marketplace. Just check to make sure it’s still available before you delete it. I can’t imagine it wouldn’t be, but you never know…
