Forge Island map 'Squirrel Chasm'

This is my first Forge Island map (don’t worry, it’s not my first map ever. I promise there aren’t blatant mistakes). It can currently be used for CTF, team slayer and FFA slayer game types (Regicide if you feel like it).

The map is designed to be a bit of a riff on Beaver Creek, but it’s a little larger than that. I hope to read some insightful feedback!

I looked at it quickly in Forge, spotted some things that could be improved:

-Try flipping the ramps upside-down, so that the railing doesn’t show, or try to make the railing blend in.
-The gravity barrier is too low and is hit when jumping while on top of the rock structures, suggest removing it or making it higher.
-Add some more cover on the tops of the bases and move the walkway cover up a little.

Other than that this looks like a pretty solid map.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll certainly raise the trait zone (perhaps another two meters?), I’m trying to make sure people don’t jump on the rock wall for quick drops down on either base.

As for the walkway covers I’ll give them a raise so people can walk under them to either side of the base.

Maybe make the movement speed very low, as well as making sure people can’t hit it when not trying to do so. That way they’d die before they were able to get near the bases.
