Whilst messing around in halo 4’s forge, I had an idea
Since we don’t have the falcons or hornets in this game, whats the closest vehicle we have which we got to fly in a certain campaign mission? That’s right the pelican. I’m not saying “bring it into matchmaking” I’d like it in custom games though, especially since my friend does machinima, I think it would be a neat thing to have.
If it can be done I think 343 should do it
I would rather have hills that I can place down instead of another vehicle. Three sizes, small, medium and large. One side flat, the other side the hill.
That and Mammoths.

Mammoth would work. There’s not enough ground for it to cover. It’s big, but it would only take a couple seconds before it got to the end of the biggest island. Pelican would work well because you can fly across all the space.

Then put a bunch of grids down or give it jet packs.
I think it is too late to add it in. They would need to make an entirely new map for that 1 vehicle.

Like, a massive map with both a Mammoth and a Pelican? AWESOME
