FORGE ISLAND DOESN'T WORK

I download the Forge Island map long time ago but always appear a message saying: do not have the recommended download content. Can somebody help me please the seam happen with Vertigo and Pittfal

Hello Astroboy 251,

Gonna walk you through the process, b/c this is a common issue that occurs with players. First start off by:

On your CONSOLE:

  1. Turn on your Console, and go to Settings, and click on system.
  2. Go to Halo 4 and locate the DLC’s (Bulleye’s and Forge Island).
  3. Delete them from your console.
  4. Once deleted, leave the system on.

On your PC

  1. Now that you have deleted the two DLC’s and your system on, go to xbox.com and access your account.
  2. Go to purchase/download history and go down the list until you locate both DLC’s.
  3. Download them again, and let it sync into the system.
  4. Remain logged into xbox.com, and now go back to your console and check if both of them are in the HD.
  5. Once confirmed, insert Halo 4 and access War Games: Customs.
  6. There, check the maps and see if the message reappears. By then it should be able to work.

Once you completed these steps given, let us know how it went, and feel free to ask for further assistance.

…Or you could go to your download history on your console and do it all at once. That’s under your account information.

I tried to delete and re-download Forge Island to fix this error, but it doesn’t seem to have worked.

I also didn’t think to delete the Bullseye pack. So I’ll have to give it a try!

In addition, my other DLC seems to be having the same issue. :frowning:

ah, this might be a corrupted hard drive?
check youre hard drive and go to halo 4 and see if you can see any corrupted files.

I checked my hard drive, but none of the files were corrupt.

Fyrewulff suggested deleting the Season Pass for the map packs and redownloading it.

I haven’t had a chance to try it yet, but I thought I would share it here.

You could always download it from waypoint, on your computer. Then send the map to your console.

Let me know if this doesn’t work.

Nothing worked for me

All I had to do was delete bullseye map pack and forge island and redone load only forge island and it worked!
