Some complain about forge not being in the game when halo 5 released. However, I can say that 343 are going to surprise us in the new forge mode. It’s one of the things they have been working on since the beginning and they probably thought, well we can’t release this yet, so let’s keep working on it and make it better than any forge mode! Who else is excited about forge and what are your thoughts on it’s release?
I’m excited, but at this point you can’t really blame people for having reservations. So, “cautiously optimistic”, I think, is a good way to feel about it. Especially since we don’t know much about the file browser yet. Unless I missed something.
I am really excited for Forge. The particle effects are one of the things I am most looking forward to, but I hope 343 will listen to the community more and fix theater mode so Forge will be great for machinimas. Also the Glacier canvas is great and so is the 3 time themes you can put the map in. They’ve added basically all of the realistic updates the community has asked for.
I am excited for what other people create. i am not good in it

I might wait 2 years before I jump back because there are things that simply just turn me away from the game. until all of the previous features are back then I might reconsider coming back to Halo 5.

Same xD… I’m a fan of the forge when it comes to forge race, forge ninja (parkour) and duck hunt. Definitively a fan of the great arena map too
Hopefully it will be good, forge is an essential part of Halo now.
Forge wont be great until more custom game settings and game modes are added. 80% of all forge maps use infection or custom game settings that aren’t available in Halo 5, therefore forge is going to be disappointing.

agreed. Machinima making will be so much easier with the new additions that 343 is adding. Im also really excited
Well if they don’t deliver then we all no whats gonna happen…
They could cut the object count in half, they could forget about a file browser, they could have the game types be nothing but slayer and ctf… and this would still be the best forge yet. My only real benchmark for success is if I can create maps that come close to looking like launch maps. The evidence of currently available forge maps not withstanding, this will be the first Halo forge to allow for some truly credible looking maps. The rest I just don’t care about.
