Hello everybody, today I got on Halo 5 to try out this X-Wing map that’s been featured on so many YouTube channels recently, and when I loaded up the map, the X-Wing was in pieces and I was not able to highlight those pieces. Basically the grouped objects would not register. I tried fiddling around for a bit trying to find a solution, and came up empty handed.
A little while later, I decided I would go work on some of my own maps. I load up the one I had been working on, and the main part of the map, (a prison that all the pieces had been all grouped together) and I couldn’t highlight it. I go to group some other things, and then they all get grouped together (the prison included somehow) and created a f**kfest on the map. Everything just went crazy; parts of the “prison” just flew everywhere. I figured, if I leave the game and then reload the map, the problem should be fixed; right? The exact same thing happened. So, I leave again and decide to try another map. Now nothing will load on the forge menu/screen. I restarted the entire game and the same thing happened yet again.
Basically the reason I started this, was to see if anyone could help or if anyone was having the same problems I’m having.

I know this is no way a fix and if you have a lot of pieces grouped it becomes a pain but I have had this happen and the work around I found was to rebuild the building/object in question that you cant select then group it then move it now what has happened to me is the other objects that I couldn’t select would then move with the newly rebuild object that you just moved. they don’t move to the same spot but they moved at least for me and then I was able to select that object/building I don’t know if this will help and like i said its a pain in the butt also when you rebuild it it has to be excactly the way you build it before the demensions x,y,z don’t have to match but the structure does and also i don’t know if this will work for everyone but it has worked for me multiple times i hope this works for you and hopefully they will have a patch for the forge bugs very soon

Yeah I hope they patch this problem soon too.
Tbh I only had like 10-ish objects grouped on my map, so this kinda worries me
