Forge Infection: Team Shields

So I’m trying to make an ‘infection’ map of sorts which involves team shields, blue and red ones. However when I load the map up on my infection game type all the shields revert to neutral. Blue (attackers) were meant to be infected whilst red (defenders) were meant to be survivors. Does anyone know if this is a glitch or if I’m forgetting about something? Thanks.

Not a glitch. Infection is FFA. Any team oriented objects, like shields, will revert to neutral in Custom Games. Use one way shields with 1 second respawn times, and place both a gravity slide and a timed kill volume directly in the shield area. This will force players through it, disallow players who destroy the shield from going through, and kill anyone camping the shield area to try and break it.
