I think Bungie should make huge open maps for forge.
They should add:

AI spawn points and variety species ( UNSC and Covenant)
-
Massive and small vehicle ( some able and unable to pilot)
-
Add things that are similar to Lost Planet 2
-

That would be grand!
Just allow the pieces to be colored. Or even just different shades of their original color. Example: A grey wall, might be allowed to go a shade darker to make it look blacker or lighter to make it look whiter.
Aside from that, maybe just some smaller pieces, like rods, 2x4 wood pieces, ect… Forgeworld did a very good job of adding larger pieces, but a few smaller things for the “asthetic” forger, would be nice too!

-All vehicles/weapons from past Halo games
-Different item themes (Human, Covenant, Forerunner, ect)

-Move all/multiple items button
-Working switches (to open doors and such)
-Set despawn times
-No object limits (the only limit is budget, framerate issues, and total item limit)
-Placeable trees and other natural items
-Terrain editor
-Map ares (like how Forgeworld has “Canyon” and “Lagoon”)
-Set transparency
-More accurate coordinate system
-A ‘water block’
-Ladders
-Ability to make custom objects and store them on your Xbox
-Object scaling on certain items
-Copy, paste, and mirror buttons
-Anti-lights that make ares dark
-More than 2 lights placeable at a time
-Team exclusive teleporters, soft/kill zones, ect.
-Delayable soft/kill zones
-Set time in which a soft kill zones counts down from
-Adjustable time of day/lighting
-Gametype exclusion (everything except infectionother gametype)
-Corpses and decals (blood, bullet holes, ect)
-Fixed works differently for weapons
-Use the forerunner textures from Halo CE as default items

… That’s asking a lot… maybe we should also ask for the ability to change textures on objects amongst also having a “lava block” :]

I wish that instead of basic forging a map they should allow you to forge you forging materials, for exaple: you spawn a grey block, you change its texture to sandstone/stone, you re-shape it to a ball/1x2 block/bank/or any other weird shape and at last you set the physics and it will stay like that all the time. Not like it is in halo reach when it is on
“normal” and you drop it and when I stops moving it will change to “fixed”.
Hoperfully you can merge these objects you spawn intill one, for exaplme: you spawn a 2 numbers of 1x2 blocks, you merge then together so it looks like a cross, then you click a specifict button and it will “lock” into eachother. Now when you pick up one of the 1x2 block you will pick up the entire thing, it will be just like all the “locked” objects work as 1.
It can be very usefull for when you build a cool structure or a statue and you realize its not in a got spot on the map, you got grab the entire thing at the sametime and move it all together. And in many other ways…
