Forge Gravity Zones

I have a question about gravity zones. Will they change the direction of your feet? What I’m asking is will you be able to walk on walls and ceilings useing gravity zones, or will your body be dangaling from the ceiling? Because I (i’m sure others do to) have a really cool idea for a gravity themed forge map.

I highly doubt that the gravity zones will allow you walk on walls or ceilings nothing has been mentioned or hinted along those lines but… you never know.

Halo: Reach had the one way shields that let you walk on your head if that’s what you into.

No, that’s what I don’t want, I want to walk on those ceilings

I share your feelings. I too, wish to walk on ceilings.

I think it’d be possible seen as that you can turn the gravitational force the other way round or upside down.

I’m pretty sure the zones/ares just modify the strength of the gravity like in the custom-game settings. The zones can also modify all the other settings if I’m not mistaking, which is going to be epic.

I hope we can do that with gravity zones but I’m pretty sure we won’t be able to do it.

Being able to accomplish what you described is something I have a feeling is beyond the capabilities of the current Halo engine, however… you could for example; build a map in Forge which is upside down, or on its side (horizontal axis turned 90 degrees), to create an illusion of gravity shift.

Perhaps we may see it properly implemented on the next gen console.

Not unless they add a “Spider Man” specialization :=) but seriously, the zones currently do not permit players to walk on ceilings / upside down based upon what I have seen.

I remember the reveal for forgeworld. It looked like they had adaptive gravity, but it was just phased peices angled strangely to look like that. If they could make gravity zones work along with changing the orientation of your spartan that would be awesome. You could make some epic infection games with zombies that go everywhere
