Forge: Grass causes more lag than trees, needs fix

Firewatch is one of my best maps (working best with 16 players). In addition I’ve created “Firewatch: Rain”, which basically changes the weather.

Now that grass is out, I’ve been attempting to add grass all over the map (different version Firewatch: Primal), and that game is going mental as hell. The frame rate drops significantly. Gameplay is heavily impacted. I even started to see pixels all over the screen it was that bad, and I’ve barely put 50 large grasses down at the max!

I I have hundreds of trees on the map, which causes minor lag. Everyone knows this. But grass? But God you can barely look at it. 343 needs to fix this so that we Forgers can enjoy making our maps look amazing in graphics (bla bla). If anyone has the same intention, now you know.

Me and all my friends have this issue too! The grass causes insane lag - even a single 48x48 grass piece can impact the framerate. 343 please look into this, thank you
