okay im gunna be brief about this. i launched forge after i added initial spawn points. there is no normal spawn points. im deep into my maps creation. after i launched it im way outside the boundries of the map with no control over any aspect of the game and the only thing that shows is “speed:normal” “camera: free” “0/64” and “green indicators for power weapons”. im on the open space map…
is my map dead? can this be fixed? will i ever be able to move again so i actually finish this map…? @343
also i had a friend “join” once and got an overhead view of me forging before leaving and it looks like ive traded places with him but there is no one else here so my camera doesnt move and maybe thats why i dont have any controls or cant move. am i in permanent spectate mode? this blows.
Your map is dead. You need “Respawn Points”, they’re what forge spawns you in with, not “Initial Spawns”
Protip: the forge canvases have EVERYTHING you need for Forge to function properly; my advice is to not delete ANYTHING until you’ve gotten a basic, playable level, then don’t DELETE the objects still, just move them into your map for testing in customs.
yeah, i didnt have any spawns what so ever for like a few days. that worked fine. so i dont see how adding some finishing touches like spawns suddenly make me not spawn in the same place i did (which was monitor mode) when i didnt have spawns in. i feel like thats fixable. incredibly frustrating.

Same problem with me 343 fix this… Because I have 3 maps created with no way to going back to them…
I have also had an issue with a map i spent hours on. I loaded it up and i am apparently below the whole map and i cannot move or change out of my forge mode. Its kinda frustrating when you (343) made the forging community wait for something for a while just to bring in something broken. Its not our fault we spent money ($499 on a console bundle) to have something that overall is not a finished product (Halo 5). I know what halo is and this is not. I have up to the cartographers gift stuck up for halo 5 but its getting frustrating. If any of the 343 team reads this, please fix the game.

You can save your map, leave forge and come back. If there is no respawn point the first monitor that spawns, spawns in the very center of the map.
Edit: Read around more on the forums and it seems more people are having this issue, I however can spawn fine in a map without a initial spawn or respawn point.
believe me ive tried saving and restarting, i even have a backup save file for that map, and that is glitched too.
