I was in the process of creating a map. All I did was place a respawn point, and then placed an initial spawn on top of it. Those were my only two spawn points I had on my map, all other ones were deleted. I saved the map, and returned back to it later. Once the map loaded up, I was in Forge mode, but I couldn’t do anything. The game freezes up, and I can’t move, open the forge menu, nothing. All I can do is pause the game. I’m disappointed because I can’t edit my map now and I already accomplished a lot, so hopefully this is resolved soon.
It’s got something to do with the initial spawn point blocking the respawn point I guess. And since it’s the only spawn on the map, it’s like the game freezes up.
Same problem here, though I only placed an initial spawn. Now the map I spent 5 hours on so far is useless until this is fixed
So I had this same problem, my friend and I found a work-around.
What you want to do is,
A: have a friend that has live and halo 5 (obviously)
B: Go into forge and open the map that you can no longer edit due to not having respawn points.
C: Now have your friend join your game session. D: They should spawn in as a monitor, as per the norm, and be able to then place spawn/respawn places for you.
E: Once they have placed what you’re missing, your monitor should spawn in.
F: SAVE IT !!!
I was thoroughly perturbed when I couldn’t go back and edit my map and was very happy that this worked.
HAPPY FORGING!!!
