I made a forge map yesterday, and wanted to continue working on it today, but when I opened up the map in forge my camera froze and I can’t do anything. I really don’t want to have to start my map all over again, but I can’t work on it at all.
EDIT: I believe it may happen because currently my map only has initial spawn points, but no respawn points.
same thing happened to me but i don’t have my menu or anything either literally i can only see with the camera thats it. Cant move, can’t turn into a spartan, nothing
I’m having the same problem; This is what happens to me: I made a multi-team map (4 way slayer) with multi-team initial spawns and multi-team respawns (Team 1, Team 2, Team 3, Team 4). Upon saving and exiting, everything is great. When I go back to forge on it again, I am unable to spawn in (unlike previous games where if there weren’t any spawn points, it would spawn you anyway). Hence, I sit there staring at a black canvas on Parallax with nothing but the forge retical to look at, whilst not being able to move- which is in agreement to what other players are experiencing.
A temporary solution would be to try and have more than one person join to see if they can move around and put down spawn points.
P.S. This issue also happens in a custom game when I select the Slayer game variant.
P.S.S. Unrelated, how do I play a multi-team slayer game? It’s not in the options or I’m overlooking something…

I deleted all the spawns and only have the initial spawns that u have in the start of the game? I don’t know if that’s the reason why it freezes. 
Hey btw I think you are right. I just opened up my older version if my map and I spawned in the normal respawn points.
Conclusion:
The map will freeze if you don’t have any respawn points. (Respawn Points [Initial] does not count)
Solution:
I have no idea.
It seems to only be on parralax. I’m sure 343 will fix it. Otherwise people are gonna get angry!
Hey guys, I believe there’s a solution for this but I have yet to try it. I’m currently wrestling with this issue as well, and it’s been said that you can invite someone to your map and have them create a spawn point for you to fix the issue. Is anyone available to try this with me? I can help you as well. I’m currently without a mic, so inbox me at ExaltedPhantom1 if you want to give this a try.
Hey guys, So this just happened to me. I added the map to my bookmarks, and then got on my brothers xbox and had him add my map to his bookmarks, and then get into the game. It took him straight to the frozen point that I had been at. After that I went back to my xbox and pulled up friends, and clicked to join his game, and it placed me on the map, and I can continue building. Don’t know if this will work for everybody but it worked for me on my first try.

Update: After I was in the game, I was able to find him where he was frozen at, and was able to push him around. I then took his controller and had full control of it again.
