Just thought it would be nice to have an option to select a map and gametype through forge fileshare, join a matchmaking search, then have the system randomly select a choice.
Not sure how they would do it, or if it is even feasible.
if they could do it - they’d need to have a way of marking which maps are “viable” for selection - because without some method of verification you’ll get people testing maps with rubbish spawns etc and that’ll kill the option immediately.
But I’d love to play duckhunt 3.0 in matchmade games.
Perhaps, if the idea is doable, 343i could partner with a forging community (I don’t even know if forgehub still exists) where people can officially submit their maps, with videos, explanations, and screenshots, for verification. Competitions and stuff could be used to populate an actual community playlist separate to this also.
Just some thoughts. Know it won’t happen. Still - you don’t float the idea no one hears it.
