Forge: Detection Mechanics.

As some of you may know, in Trials Evolution and Little Big Planet 2, you could set up something that could detect your character, or another object, and that could be used to trigger certain objects.

In Halo 4, area sensors or cameras (as in cctv style cameras) could be used to trigger other objects to explode or move. Or even using the camera, a turret could be connected to it to become a sentry.

What do you think?

I’d rather see a “time of day” option for my maps, but sure why not.

That can be cool for doors and stuff. Like maybe have cover that can pop up when you walk past them ala GoW?

I agree, the time of day and weather effects would be good for forge, as long as the terrain changes to suit the weather. I would like more lighting options as well, not just 2 types of lights and only being able to place 2.
