i was just forging earlier and i thought of something that would really improve custom games.
you know how in forge you can make it so items dont start on the map but after a certain amount of time they spawn? what if you could reverse that and make it so after a certain amount of time, items dissappear? that would make custom game maps that much more interesting. imagine a race track dissapearing behind you while you race for the finish line!
This idea can open up lots of new posibilities. I like it.

thanks!
another idea i thought of that can go with this is a mix of the two. the ability to make it so items dont spawn till a certain time, and then after a certain amount of time after they spawn, they dissapear.
This would make perfect Infection maps, you’d be able to make doors, draw bridges and other ‘moving’ structures much easier.
Good idea, you can may be even make a map where you have to hold out against zombies if you don’t make it to a certain place before a door gets blocked, and then the blockage goes after a certain time or score checkpoint, so you can go to the next zone.
its these simplae, but powerful ideas that make Halo fun and fresh.
Also, an undo feature. But I do agree, having a timer for objects so after a set amount of time, they are deleted.
im sure halo 4 forge will be great
hopping they mix H3/HR styles and make one great 1
p.s. your idea sounds neat…
This idea has been past around more than you’d expect. I definitely support it.

im sure it has, but i have never seen a thread made about it. and i think 343i really needs to add the idea in

Despawning. It sounds like a good idea.
