I’ve been using Forge for a few days, it’s easy to use. However, I have a problem, I demand a lot of details and ended up deleting my map and starting over. (I know that, depends on the creativity of each person)
My question is…
Are details important?
Could you give me some advice?
With this forge it seems like we can have playability (good frame rates) or detail (bad frame rates). With my own projects I always choose detail, but that’s because they’re built for the pleasure of building, not to be played outside of customs. If you have ambitions to get projects into matchmaking then you face tough choices. Those maps are largely free of real frame rate problems, but to my eye they don’t even begin to leverage what this forge is truly capable of doing. I’m afraid I don’t really have any advice if you’re looking for a way to have your cake and eat it too.
