Forge Console Crash

Hi Halo Forum. I’ve encountered a serious game (console) breaking error in Halo 5 forge.
I’ve spent the last few hours making an arena for who knows what and everything was going peachy. I came to the lighting and started lighting the place up. Its a rather large open arena and required a lot of lights, about 25 wall lights, 6 bar ceiling lights, and a ton of invisible lights to light up the center, maybe about 50 or so. (Here’s a pic: K25 peacemaker's Xbox Halo 5: Guardians gameplay. Find your Xbox One screenshots on GamerDVR.com) I finish this and hold down on the d-pad to bake the lights and admire my work, but instead of saying generating lights, I get a black screen and a horrible screeching noise from the repeating audio. Then my Xbox restarts a few seconds later as if I hard cycled it.
Going into Spartan mode without baking lights causes no problems, but if I go into custom games with the map it crashes the console as well.

Maybe I’m just using too many lights, but without that many, the lighting is splotchy and looks like crap.

Please help

I’ve been having the same problem when trying to duplicate any welded item also saves are being corrupted so thats something to look out for

I’ve encountered the same problem, it started after I made an intro scene, so I removed the intro scene and it still continues, it’s seriously -Yoink!- me off.

I also had a problem like this when tried to duplicate I hole building that I had group into one selection, my console suddenly began to make a loud sound like if I just turn on a big fan, and the game crash, after that I restarted and my game now is corrupted because my buildings now are not eligible to be selected by the reticle, so I can’t modified them, I can’t not even deleted them… And I spend quite some time doing this level which now is garbage. I’m just not doing it any more, it was so frustrating…

Same exact issue here, I’m glad to see I’m not the only one. If I need to delete some lights, I guess that’s okay, I just want to know what the heck is causing it.

I don’t know what it is, but it is seriously frustrating to be working on a map for hours, and suddenly have the thing crash on you.
As far as I can tell the Forge itself is still very glitchy… it should not have been released if it was this buggy. How anyone has been able to publish a map is beyond me. I have been Forging since Halo 3 and I have to say that this version of it would be the best ever, if they had just taken a little extra time with the Forge module and make sure it was 100% before releasing it.
For me it seems to crash every I try to duplicate large combinations of objects… also, I have noticed that it tends to crash more frequently when I use the 128x128x2 block especially on Parallax.

Also, do not try creating big groups of objects, it apparently doesn’t like it.

Same issue, I worked 12 hours on multiple maps and my console crashes out of the blue on multiple occasions, needless to say I am finished with forge, at least until they patch it. I’m both sad and frustrated it isn’t working and on top of that I’m worried about lasting damage it could have on my Xbox, I hope 343 is prepared to pay for damages if my console breaks.

Mine doesnt even start. It says the halo icon and then has a box pop up saying my pc doesnt have minnimum requirements, even though I checked and I have all the requirements. I hit continue, and i just exits the whole thing. I dont need it anyway, but ever scince 343 started working on the halos, it just wasnt the same. Sorry, got off topic. But that sucks. Im sorry
