I got Halo 5 a couple of months ago. I tried forge, but I had no clue how to do anything. A couple of weeks ago I decided to give forge another chance. I am a lot better at using forge, but there’s one thing that frustrates me more than anything. I can’t figure out how get prop colors right. For example, after about an hour or so of playing I realized that UNSC and Covenant props aren’t colored right. I tried to make Covenant stuff look the way they’re supposed to, but I can’t figure it out. I need someone to give me the right combination of colors and metallic settings for Covenant and UNSC stuff. Sorry for the wall of text.
Just spawn a ghost or a warthog or scorpion or pull up a picture of unsc or covenant objects from halo 5 or from any other game if you don’t like the halo 5 color scheme. You choose what color you think looks best and what complements your map.
For Covenant colors and metallic settings, try using Plum, with 7, 8, or 9 for the matallic setting. I recommend 7 or 8, as you want it to shine a bit, but don’t want it to go overboard with the shine.
For UNSC, I would say go you should go with either Olive Drab or Dark Forest, but I would go with Olive Drab. And for the metallic settings, I would say go with 6. It shines just enough, and it shouldn’t shine nearly as much as the Covenant textures.
Thanks! I’ll try both of these next time I’m in forge.
