Hey guys, I’m a frequent forger in Halo 5 and have a good understanding of the mechanics of the system. But recently I’ve had an issue that I can’t seem to fix. While holding right trigger and attempting to move an object on its axis, I hit the right analog stick as well, throwing off my axis in both X and Y. Therefor, my objects do not truly stay in the orientation I need them to while moving one axis or another. I am looking for anyone who might know how to fix this, or if it is a
bug that needs to be patched by 343. Without my rotation snaps, forging maps will be like back in the days of Halo 3 but worse. Thanks.
What? I don’t understand… Don’t hit the right thumbstick…?
That’s not the issue. It isn’t hard not to hit it. What is nearly impossible is getting it back to its original orientation. As it sits right now, I go into forge and all my objects axis are off. I can’t get it back to normal.
cant load custom matches, cant load any of my armour, cant save my forge maps or load any maps, and cant change my armour stances or weapon skins. I don’t earn req for doing online matches and I cant load or open any packs.
WTF is going on???
I’ve tried un-installing and re-installing but it didn’t fix anything
can someone tell me how to fix this or can 343 do something please?

I’m not at home right now, but I believe there’s an option regarding that in the Map Options or Tool Settings. I think it’s called World Axis or something.
Yes it was. And you have to hold both triggers and press up on the D-Pad to cycle through them.
I’m having the same problem too. I like forging but I’m not very experienced with halo 5’s. It might be a bug because I can’t find a way to not make the X and Y axis move when I try looking at it from different angles.
