This may be rather long; I would like to get this noticed.
I feel that there needs to be the ability to add bots into custom games. I named the topic Forge Bots, because I feel that being able to place a bot spawn anywhere would create a lot more replay value. This would want me to spend more time creating Forge maps and taking time learning all I can do, now this is not a justification for me to use Forge. This is more of I would like to have some casual fun without just needing to hop into the campaign, let’s face it that gets old and boring unless you are going for achievements.
Why?
I am a father, that should be enough. (like most I work full time for a company, house work, family, etc.) With that said I would like to have fun playing without going up against 9-year-old kids who have nothing but time to play, learn spawn times, and telling me how they had -Yoink!- with my mom.
Now going back to the father point, life happens. Sure my son will grab his brother drag him to a car and start bashing his brothers head into the car door, by opening and closing the door. So I might have to stop playing in a game of Warzone or Arena. Now because of abuse 343 Industries felt it was necessary to say screw it PENALIZE ALL THE THINGS! It’s probably found under the 343i rule called “No mercy.” While in the background my son is now on the roof with an umbrella trying to reenact Mary Poppins.
Now after getting a baby jail for the kids, things are fine… until a wooden block comes at my face and the TV. AFK again… while my idle Spartan is just getting Tyrannosaurs REKT by the vigorously pounding 9-year olds that are defiling my lifeless corpse telling me how they own me. I am now cleaning up blocks, blood, glass, and changing diapers. While getting penalized for something I should have predicated, silly me.
Solution:
Please consider allowing the addition of NPC AI Bots to be added in custom maps (even more exciting forge for placement) accordingly. Small maps 4v4 large maps 8v8. While I now go and get a vasectomy and Zantac.
The bots do not need to be covenant, that would be fun as well. Just simple Spartan bots that ran around the map would be fun. Please 343 if a simplistic game Cube can add bots, I am sure the biggest and best game dev team (That’s 343 Duh.) can do this simple request.
Thoughts?
How would the community feel about it if something like this were implemented to the game? (TROLLS are welcome.)
