Is there a way to let the forge ball out on installation 04? It shows that you can trade a focus rifle with him, but you can’t actually take it. Anyone know anything more about this guy?

Yeah! I just discovered this myself! Maybe he has the new scarab gun? In the form of a focus rifle?

Potentially relevant:
Players in Edit Mode in Reach’s Forge have a Focus Rifle, but cannot use it. Specifically: when a player isn’t host, they may see a Focus Rifle appear for a split-second in the weapons section of their HUD when entering Edit Mode; and if they enter Edit Mode while firing any automatic weapon, they (and only they) see themselves firing a Focus Rifle beam (that doesn’t sync, and doesn’t damage or affect anything) for a split-second.
So this glitch exists in Reach’s Forge and in the new FF map. What I’m wondering is why it exists…

It’s 343 Guilty Spark, it must be part of some larger easter egg, perhaps if you have a focus rifle you’re able to give it to him. Then he goes and attacks the Covenant
