What the heck are Great Anvils? Only thing I can think of is it being Forge related with Anvils representing Forge since Halo 3.
Isn’t it obvious? Wile E. Coyote (Super Genius) and the The Road Runner will make an appearance!
They’re showcasing the Castle maps so, perhaps, some or all of them are fully forgeable?

I know my friend for sure is going to PAX, as he got free tickets, so I will ask him what this “forge announcement” is that is supposedly going to be at the event. As a forger myself, I am very curious as to what this is.
I believe it will be the secret forge map valentines pic thingamabob(spell check didn’t correct this, is thingamabob a real word? lol).
This thing obviously deals with forge. I’m not jumping to conclusions. This absolutely can’t deal with anything else. I’m patiently waiting to hear about it.
I’m guessing it will be forge bug fixes.

343 is improving Halo 4 in an upcoming title update by improving forge by removing forge from Halo 4, just like how they improved forge in Halo 4 by removing features it had in Reach.
Don’t worry though it still feels like Halo. 343 knows what players think is fun better than they know themselves. Halo 4 is their game.

Geez… When I first read the Twitter thing and BSAngle mentioned Great Anvils my mind started racing trying to think of what in the Halo Lore that meant. Forge makes more sense. Been awake far too long. Very excited now that it makes ssense. Excited Face

Do you mean Certain Affinity’s Halo 4 Forge Contest?
That’s a good guess too, as it fits in with the upcoming FFA playlist, offers Castle-related prizes and has a community flavour appropriate to the show.

Good point. Expectations are a required prerequisite for disappointment.
We won’t have to wait too long. It’s certainly about forge. If I had to bet, it may be a forge contest, or perhaps one of the Castle maps has a forge environment associated with it.
Don’t forget about the mysterious Forge World picture.
Hey, I had expectations for Halo 4, and 343i didn’t let me down, so I think I’ll be ok.
I went straight to the forums about that very same ominous message.
I hope to god they are implementing the zoom feature and the precision editing feature once more, since there really isn’t any reason why they should have gotten rid of them.
i wouldnt get too excited, probably just the forge contest. I hope I’m wrong though

They actually teased the map I believe, because I can’t sort this map shown on this pic to any of Halo 4s existing maps, including the DLCs maps:
Especially because of the clouds. The map looks like Ravine, but it’s clearly not not Ravine. It could be Ragnarok, but Ragnarok doesn’t have such clouds shaped like that like in the pic.
So, a new Forge World maybe?
