Forge and Theater Additions For Easier Use...

Just thought of a few possible things we could use, in Halo Xbox One, Forge and Theater.

In forge, the most annoying thing is if we know if a player made map is compatible with a game type. To find out we have to quit to custom games, to check. I believe 343 Industries should add a third mode, in which we can test just basic game types, to make sure they are compatible… basically would only require player mode, with slight additions. In other words, test map.

In theater, I believe a player mode should be implemented. This would be great for the machinnima fan base which seem to not get much revenue in terms, of support. This would allow small edits to be made in the movement, firing, vehicle etc. scenes/screen shots. Heck theater is apparently becoming spectator mode so why not combine it with Forge. Plus keep the original way so we can load campaign, firefight, spartan ops, multiplayer stuff too.

Or, beneath the image for every Forged map, they could show the icons for each gametype. Dark icons mean the gametype is not supported, and light icons means the gametype is supported.

Making it possible to explore Out of Bounds in Theater mode, if that’s what you’re suggesting, would defeat the purpose and challenge of finding an OoB.

It might increase the replay value for some but it’d have disastrous results for others who actually want to try and find it without such assistance.

I like vektor0’s idea alot. and yes OP, i thank you for bringing up this subject.
