Ok, now iv been a halo fan since I can remember, I pretty much spent the majority of my life playing the halo games growing up, then halo 3 came around and we were introduced to FORGE this amazing game mode which allowed our creative minds to go crazy!! And it was carried on to halo: reach, halo 4 and halo 5. And this was a great idea to carry this outstanding game mode on, but…iv always felt there were things missing, and this has probably been said plenty of times but me being a forum noob I’d like to have my own go with this forum. Back in halo 3 playing with my friends we were always the ones trying to make cool movie style gameplays, building the map then acting…basically like a role play but we were always restricted by the slight lack of items in forge, I know I ain’t the only one who has asked “where are the flyable pelicans/ phantoms” and a lot of people will reply saying that there’s no point wasting time adding to an already great game just a few vehicles, and that’s a fair point but I know it’s been every forge lovers dream to be able to spawn in a phantom or pelican and fly around, heck even a scarab on the large maps. Now yes we did get a taste of flying pelicans and phantoms from the little sneaky feature which was added in one of halo reaches missions which involved flying a banshee/falcon through the looped building after pressing the buttons and then being transformed into their faction counter parts of pelican and phantom, a mission which I replayed quite a few times just for the sake of flying those vehicles. But after that there was never an opportunity to ever do that. Which is why I plead for a few additions to forge maybe in a small forge focused update. I know I’m asking a lot because I have no doubt it ain’t free to put time into creating models and such but it would open a whole new world for forge. Obviously there are more vehicles I could name that aren’t in any of the halo games for forge for example the seraph fighters, damn pretty sure ud find people falling in love if there was ever a huge scale map created featuring unsc frigates and covenant cruisers cause that’s just awesome but I know that’s asking a lot more than pelicans and phantoms. But hey this is just an idea that I doubt will get noticed but if it does…well 343 you would be making a dream come true not just for me, but I’m sure for the majority of your fan base. And if you do read this to the end thank you for your patience as there are a lot of words here. But iv basically threw my ideas at you here in hopes you will catch them. Now il prepare myself for any hate from any other forum users as I’m not experienced with forums but hopefully you can even just contemplate the idea.
