I’m trying to make a map in Halo 5 with some cool scripted mechanics, but I’m finding the terminology hard to understand. People are doing things like making handheld teleportation devices (https://www.reddit.com/r/halo/comments/5hfwup/i_made_a_handheld_teleporter/) without explaining how, I don’t know what the difference between Power: Check and Interacted is, Number: Check doesn’t make any sense at all, Condition: Spawned doesn’t appear to be working, the scripting seems to be outright disobeying at times, and just so many things are baffling to me.
I want a complete guide with every feature and condition explained in layman’s terms, preferably with examples, and so do my friends and a lot of other Forgers in the community. Certain Affinity did a guide for Halo 2 Anniversary scripting, maybe they could do it again for Halo 5. Or someone at 343? If anybody can put together a complete guide to post-Monitor’s Bounty scripting in Halo 5 I would appreciate the crap out of you.

It’s like building a skyscraper without blue prints. There are some folks that will share their knowledge but not many and when they do they most time I still can’t follow them because they focus on one issue of a script that has several command possibility’s such as number set and number check. I’m going to follow your topic to see if anyone drops by with helpful information. You’re right though [ We need ] a comprehensive guide with tutorials and examples. Thanks Radical.
