Introduce Forfeiting in Halo 4.
To forfeit half of the team or more has to have already quit.
Then 51% or more of the remaining people have to vote to forfeit.
This will immediately end the game and the team which didn’t forfeit wins no matter what the score is.
Not a bad idea.

Also, I think the opposing team will probably oppose forfeiting so they can more kills. Therefore, the player would just have to revert back to quitting

Trust me, i spawn kill all the time and I HATE it when there is half a team or less left. The ones who don’t quit cause they want Cr. Well atleast this way they still get their Cr. 
there was another thread similar to this, but a lot more complicated. this is simple. I like it and support 100%. I just played a 4v4 the the other day. Went on the MLG playlist hoping to find people who will actually try to communicate. not only did they all not have mics, i ended up being the only one on my team, 1v4. Having a forfeit option would have saved me a few minutes of being spawn killed. at least the other team was quick about finishing the game…
When a forfeit option is really necessary is when one team is dominating an objective game and simply wait out the time rather than finish caping the final objective.

I can see it work in one of two ways. the least obtrusive is that a new menu option appears under leave game when your team is reduced to half the standard team size. select the option and a checkmark appears next to it. when at least 51% of your team check the box, the game ends in forfeit. your team the other option would be a box like the betrayal boot menu. the first time you die after having half your team quit, you get the option to forfeit.
or you can have both. both might be better cause you can change your mind.

Less than 1% of my kills are banshee bomb.
I use the DMR.
Spawn killing does not only occur in BTB, Synapse is a good 4v4 map to Spawn kill on.

100% boredom issues and most of the time they try to hide.

I got you confused with Spirit Bombs
I like the concept, but the idea is flawed:
If a party of three is playing a 4v4 playlist, they can simply forfeit the game if they dislike the gametype and/or map.
If two people on a team of three want to troll the third teammate, they can simply forfeit and end the game.
Not to mention, it’s not exactly fair for for the last member of a team to just end the game, when everybody on the other team could potentially want to keep the game going. I don’t see why the one person wouldn’t just quit. It’s a loss either way.

I’m pretty sure it would only be the one team who gets to vote.
