Forever loading reqs/collection

Is this getting fixed with next fix update?
Am I just never going to be able to change anything ever and should abandon Halo 5 altogether?
All these “hey wait for a minute and it’ll fix it for a short time!” that I’ve seen elsewhere arent gettin’ it, ya feel?

Clean cut answers are the best answers.

Okay, the responses…
Probably not
Probably and no
And yes, this happens with a bunch of games.

You shouldn’t abandon halo 5 altogether, but I mean, if you have severe issues with it such as being in a game and can’t load your REQs, THEN that’s a problem, and you should try notifying them (Even though 70% of the time it won’t matter anyways…).
The collection problem isn’t a huge game breaker though, as you can just go into Waypoint and do what you need to there.

It’s a pretty small problem. You shouldn’t just quit the game over it.

I get this problem also. It mostly revolves around your internet connection/Halo 5 servers not getting the info most of the time. Here’s what I do most of the time and it works if my nets still working.

  • Go back to Xbox One Home - Press the Menu button and when the mini-menu for Halo 5 appears, select “Quit game” - Re-launch Halo 5 and your REQ collection should work - NOTE: If your REQs still won’t work after this, it’s mostly likely your internet connection/server issues.Hope this helped fellow Spartan.

Load the game, exit the game, load the game check REQ store, then into a game, or repeat. This is what I do every time I want to play.

See, I have done as the suggested a plethora of times. It isn’t game breaking by any means, however, having tried to be in at least two firefights (once last night and another sometime before) it’s to the point I cant access anything in the store/packs/collections/reqs. Regardless of backing out and restarting that game constantly.
I am aware that it happens in several other games. (Like Warface on 360 had a good 3 weeks of gamebreaking unavailability)

It seems a bit convoluted to check through waypoint when the means to primarily access such things as the collection area of H5 is within the game and doesn’t open up an xbox app to show you what’s what.

The “Retrieving Data” issue is one that never fails to urk me. Here’s what to do when it happens:

  • Find your internet modem / router and shut it off. Unplug the power too. - Wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in. - Turn your modem / router back on. If all goes well, your internet connection should be back after a few minutes. - If you still don’t have a connection, repeat steps 1 - 3 until you get it.Hope this helps, my fellow Spartan!
