so today i thought me and my friend were going to continue playing the legendary campaign as we only have 6 mission left on halo 2, i thought i would look at my achievements and realised i was at 33/40 for completing all campaigns on Legendary, Heroic and Normal. My friend was at 34/40 and we have been playing together through everything together… so i looked at the campaign menu and i have completed everything on legendary apart from these last 6 missions… so when these are done ill be forever on 39/40… thats 120G ill never get because 343 and incompetent idiots
anyone else have this problem?
Simply check which mission you didn’t get an achievment for completing.

I have an achievement for completing every mission and for completing all the games individually… well apart from halo 2 which i will have soon but then forever 39/40

some glitch, you have to find out which ones. It isn’t hard.
Once you are at 39/40 go to the ingame achievements page in the career, highlight the legendary completion for all, and there should be a button that says “Press to jump to most relative section” or something along those lines. It will take you to the mission it didn’t credit you for. I had to do that a few times to get terminals it didn’t give me credit for the first time I collected them.

ah right cheers, well as soon as i am 39/40 ill have to do that then 
check guilty spark. for whatever reason that one didn’t register for me
I’m seeing Cortana in Halo 3 only done on Normal for you as well.

Easy, but yer ive just noticed that there, on waypoint it says ive done on easy for on the game itself it says legendary… thank you soo much 
now i can achieve 40/40 yes!
This happens for me as well, the game has problems registering completions. I have the achievement for beating the Master Chief Saga Playlist, but don’t have the achievement for beating all games on Normal, and the Master Chief Saga Playlist is literally all the games on normal. Its really frustrating. I haven’t been too concerned because I plan on doing LASO soon, but still, shouldn’t happen in the first place.

i tried LASO… but noone else wants to so i stuck in a second controller lol and no point doing it solo as you get recked by the iron skull -.- anyways… on halo CE the third mission when you enter the ship and 2 invisible sword people come… i cant physically play on 2 controls at that point so im stuck 
So far I haven’t had any problems with campaign cheevos but I’m sure you can just replay the mission you didn’t get an achievement for.

thats not what i was going on about i got the ‘cheevos’ for the missions individually but the overall high G ‘cheevo’ wouldnt unlock and was stuck on 39/40 because when i completed cortana on halo 3 legendary it didnt count it towards the total ‘cheevo’ but i got the individual ‘cheevo’ for completing it.
Now i have another problem… i went back and did cortana after i completed halo 2 legendary… now its 38/40… what a complete joke, fix your -Yoink- 343
oh wait i hard reset my xbox and now im 39/40 again and this time its ‘the great journey’ which decided to break -.-
