Forest Armour Skin Overpowered?

Is Forest Armour Skin overpowered?
Link

:stuck_out_tongue:

P.S. Who else didn’t see the hidden Spartan first time watching until he revealed himself?

This is a joke right?

Sure, just like jumping and shooting XP

I saw your thread and just had to click on it, even though I knew what I was going to see. Very funny. I think it’s fine. Having not played the game I’m not sure if there are several scenarios that can play out that way. It was the perfect combination of map, armor skin, and color selection. The last of which is only good for FFA. If it was a team game the player would still stand out. Good observation though, and funny.

Haha I get it, but I don’t imagine it being too much of a problem.

Also I didn’t see the Spartan either.

Thanks to this post I am now convinced we received and extra source of entertainment with the Launch of Halo 4 as valid as wargames and spartan ops, which is this message board come November 6th.

Lol I remember that thread

lol too funny

Wow I actually didn’t notice him the first time. Though it was probably because the other spartans where obnoxiously colorful in comparison to him than just his skin.

Does anyone know whether or not the Forest Armor Skin is only for Hazop? If so, that makes me sad. As far as I can tell, skins only apply to certain armors, and that skins cannot be used on all armor types

Personally, I hope it’s more to do with the colours than the skins themselves. Maybe forest is a little adventageous because it matches the textures quite well, but that means it’ll only be useful in that map, in certain gametypes, from certain angles.

Unless people are willing to spend the whole game running back to that spot to camp and hoping someone doesn’t see them from pretty much any other angle, then I don’t think it’ll be much of a problem lol.

Double post. Sorry guys. Seem to have a lot of ā€˜Time out’ errors on the forums at the moment. Sad face.

I saw him during the conversation between the three spartans.

  1. Right away.

  2. I can understand how during a battle, one can miss a crouching and none moving rock, however my reticle will turn red as I scan the rocks, so I doubt it would be beneficial much against players that scan thoroughly.
An active-camo+custom map scheme, ya that’s going to work nicely for those that like to snipe and/or hide. Won’t help much in full on fights, but in sneaking, ya it’ll be a nice option to have.

  3. I’m giving away both of those skins if you want… Just go to the GD and look for Tues’ community get together :).
I could keep it so that I could have the same ā€œabilityā€, but everything I’ve seen is only going to help me be more aggressive, so I can’t see myself taking advantage of such a strategy.

  4. ProVision.

  5. Those guys have no battle awareness. In fact in a FFA match, why are they talking like friends? Don’t believe the marketing. As I’ve just listed, it’s really not very versatile when used outside of that video’s context. You have to custom your colours to each map in a FFA match and use AC to take full advantage of it. That’s tedious and anti-speed.

Red text appears above an enemies head if you aim anywhere near them anyway in Matchmaking so I don’t think realistically this will be an overly effective strategy but…

Matched with Active Camo…

OMG!

no

Dude… No, the skin isn’t over powered if you can’t keep a situational awareness of the area around you.

:stuck_out_tongue:

Too many people not realising it was a joke.

Pop son !

While I am jelous of people who can now go all ninja stealth on my butt, I wouldn’t call it over powered. A nasty suprise maybe…
